Upon arrival, the room initially had a strong disinfectant smell, but a bit of fresh air quickly cleared it up. The room, while adequate, had all the necessary amenities, although it was the only available option when we booked online.
The hotel is conveniently located just outside Yellowstone, making it a great base for exploring the area. The rooms are well-equipped but lack entertainment options like TV or music. The dining options are a plus, but guests should be prepared to pay additional taxes. Overall, a decent choice for staying near the park.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and bad experiences. The rooms were spacious and clean, which was a relief after a week on the road. However, the strong chemical smell was a bit overwhelming. The location was convenient, being within walking distance to a supermarket, but the dining experience left much to be desired with poor quality food and an odd voucher system. The service was friendly and helpful, enhancing my 6-night stay, but the presence of staff smoking upon arrival was a bit off-putting.
